Malgorzata Kulbaczewska-Figat commented on the recent Ukranian labour legislation, which deprives the Ukrainian worker of power to negotiate with his/her employer better working conditions. Through deregulation, Ukraine opens up to international capital, promising to be "the free steppe" of capitalist enterprise. At the same time Russia was abandoned from international capital and embarked on a way of development on the basis of national capital. Both models give privileges to tiny elites, while the majority of people will suffer.
