Tobias Schweiger: To solve the housing crisis, we need both local and pan-European solutions

Tobias Schweiger, one of the coordinators of the European Left's housing network and an activist of Communist Party of Austria, joins Cross-Border Talks to discuss the acute shortage of affordable flats that is felt everywhere in Europe. He explains what is left of once impressive legacy of the Red Vienna public housing and how today's Austrian communists are involved in getting homes accessible to everyone. Tobias Schweiger also points out which measures, introduced under the pressure of housing activists in different European countries, could be popularized all over continent - and which problems have not yet been properly addressed.
